Snow Day Sessions
Let’s catch the snow before it melts.
We live in Michigan. We know that beautiful, sticking snow usually turns into slush within 24 hours.
Because I can’t schedule the weather weeks in advance, I created the Snow Day Priority List. It’s for people who are ready to hop in the car when the snow is perfect. I watch the radar, and when a "go" day is coming, I open up a few time slots for that weekend.
Snow Day Sessions
Fast. Fun. Done. These are focused, 20-minute sessions. We get you in, get the dogs playing and looking cute, and get you back to your warm car before anyone gets cold.
How it Works
Join the List: Sign up below.
The Alert: If the weekend forecast looks good, I’ll email you by Friday morning with available times.
The Booking: First come, first served. A $200 Session Fee grabs your spot.
The Deal: Your entire $200 fee is applied as a 100% Credit toward whatever photos or art you decide to buy later.
What’s Included?
The Shoot: 20 minutes of shooting time at a local park (usually Hudson Mills or Kensington).
The Edit: I’ll clean up the images, remove leashes, and make the snow look bright and clean.
The Reveal: No need to schedule another appointment. I will record a personalized video walkthrough of your gallery that you can watch on your own time. I’ll guide you through your best shots and show you exactly what they would look like as finished artwork.
The Snow Guarantee
If the weather turns and the snow melts before your session, you won’t lose your investment. You can choose to:
Wait for the Snow: Keep your spot and get first priority for the very next Snow Day Pop-Up.
Upgrade Your Experience: Use your $200 credit toward a future full Signature Session with West Oak in any season.
Location
Sessions take place at select locations in the Ann Arbor and Brighton areas chosen specifically for their wind protection and scenery (typically Hudson Mills Metropark or Kensington Metropark). The exact meeting point will be confirmed in your booking email.
Is my dog a fit?
All dogs are welcome, regardless of age or training level. I am experienced in working with high-energy dogs and those who need to remain on a leash (I professionally remove leashes in post-processing). If your dog loves the cold, they are a perfect fit.
