This all-inclusive package is the perfect introduction to the West Oak Pet Photography artwork experience.

Your 45-minute session experience at a private evergreen tree farm including up to three dogs (a fourth dog can be added for an additional $75).

A set of 25 custom-designed Holiday Cards, featuring your favorite portrait—ready to send to family and friends!

What to Expect:
We will create a gallery of beautiful, heartfelt portraits during your private session. My sessions are relaxed and play-based, designed to capture the authentic expressions you love without stuffy poses or forced smiles. My expertise ensures a joyful and successful experience for dogs of all temperaments.
Your Gallery Reveal:
The experience doesn't end when our session is over. Within two weeks, your private gallery reveal will arrive in your inbox. This isn't just a link to a folder of photos; it's a personalized walkthrough of your dog's story. I'll guide you through your gallery of 15+ images and I'll show you how these beautiful moments can become tangible art for your home—from a signature Bamboo Framed Print for your desk to a stunning Heirloom Folio Box you'll cherish for a lifetime.
After viewing your images in your gallery walkthrough, many clients find they've fallen in love with more than just one moment. For them, I offer additional photos and beautiful heirloom products available for purchase.

Q: What if my dog won't sit still or is nervous in new places?
A: This is the most common worry I hear from clients, so you are not alone! Please know that my sessions are designed to be fun and relaxed for dogs of all personalities. A perfect 'sit-stay' is absolutely not necessary to create beautiful portraits. My expertise is in connecting with each dog, understanding their comfort level, and using play-based techniques to capture their genuine character. We will go at your dog's pace to ensure the experience is positive and joyful.
Q: What if my dog needs to stay on a leash?
A: Not a problem! The safety of your pet is my top priority. Please don't worry about this affecting your final portraits, as leashes can be seamlessly removed from any artwork you choose to purchase.
Q: Can I be in the photos with my dog? What if I have multiple dogs?
A: Yes, absolutely! You are welcome and encouraged to be in the photos to capture the special bond you share. The session fee covers up to three dogs from the same household and their human family.
A fourth dog may be added for an additional fee of $75. To ensure we have enough time to create beautiful portraits of everyone, families with five or more dogs are required to book two back-to-back sessions.
Q: What if the weather is bad on our session day?
A: Your safety and the creation of beautiful portraits are my top priorities. I will monitor the forecast closely, and in the event of truly prohibitive weather (like heavy rain, dangerous winds, or a blizzard), I will make the call to cancel the sessions for that day.
Rescheduling & Credit Policy: Should a cancellation occur, our first priority will be to reschedule your session. We will work together to find a new, mutually agreeable date for your portraits.
If we cannot find a new date that works for you, your non-refundable payment will be converted into a full credit, valid for one year towards any future session or product purchase.
This ensures that no matter what the Michigan weather brings, your investment is protected and will result in beautiful portraits. Agreement to this policy is required to book.
Q: What exactly is included in the booking package?
A: Your booking secures "The Holiday Keepsake" package for $495. This all-inclusive package is paid in full to reserve your session and includes:

One (1) signature 5x7 Bamboo Framed Desk Print.
The corresponding High-Resolution Digital File of your chosen framed image (perfect for your holiday card!).
After you view your private gallery of 15+ images, you will have the opportunity to use your initial investment to upgrade to a larger artwork collection if you wish.

If you're looking for someone who understands the 'always covered in dog hair' life, you've found her. I'm Sarah, and I'm a photographer who's completely obsessed with animals. Seriously, I'm their mom, and I'd do anything for them. And honestly, meeting your dogs? It's one of my favorite things!
I've always loved photography, but it's capturing the connection between pets and their people that truly fills me with joy. I want to create art that shows the real moments, the silly grins, the quiet cuddles, the pure love that fills your home. And yes, my clothes will probably have dog hair on them when we meet – it's just part of the job (and the joy!).
West Oak Photography is my way of celebrating my own furry family – Westley, Oakley, Meeko, and Remy. They're my world, and they've taught me so much about the beauty of unconditional love.
