Official Rules: Fall With the Dog You Love

1. Sponsor
This promotion is sponsored by West Oak Dog Photography, 10923 Charring Cross Cir, Whitmore Lake, MI(“Sponsor”).
This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, Meta, or any other social media platform.
2. Promotion Period
The Fall With the Dog You Love promotion begins on August 17, 2026 at 12:00 AM Eastern Time and ends on August 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time.
Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the promotion.
3. Eligibility
The promotion is open to legal residents of Michigan who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry.
Entrants must be willing and able to complete their photography session at a location approved by Sponsor within approximately 30 minutes of Whitmore Lake, Michigan.
Limit one (1) entry per person during the promotion period.
Employees, contractors, immediate family members, and household members of Sponsor are not eligible to enter.
Void where prohibited by law.
4. How to Enter
During the promotion period, complete and submit the official Fall With the Dog You Love application provided by West Oak Dog Photography.
Applicants must provide the requested contact information and complete the required application questions.
No purchase, payment, booking, deposit, consultation, or artwork order is required to enter or be selected.
By submitting the application, entrants agree to receive email communication from West Oak Dog Photography. Entrants may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
5. Selection
Four (4) recipients will be selected from eligible completed applications. This is not a random drawing.
Sponsor will review eligible applications and select:
One (1) Grand Prize Winner
Three (3) Runner-Up Prize Winners
Applications will be reviewed based on overall fit for Fall With the Dog You Love, including the applicant’s story and connection with their dog, why preserving this chapter is meaningful to them, interest in creating finished artwork from the experience, and ability to complete the session by November 15, 2026 at an approved location within approximately 30 minutes of Whitmore Lake, Michigan.
Sponsor will select the four applications that, in Sponsor’s judgment, best reflect the purpose and experience of Fall With the Dog You Love.
Sponsor’s selection decisions are final.
6. Notification and Acceptance
Potential recipients will be contacted by email and/or phone using the contact information provided with their application.
A potential recipient may accept or decline the prize. Potential recipients who wish to accept must respond within forty-eight (48) hours of notification.
If selected and the prize is accepted, the recipient must complete West Oak Dog Photography’s standard booking process before the session is confirmed.
If a potential recipient declines, does not respond within forty-eight (48) hours, is found to be ineligible, cannot complete a session by the required deadline, or does not comply with these Official Rules, Sponsor may select an alternate recipient from the remaining eligible applications.
7. Prizes and Approximate Retail Value
A total of four (4) prizes will be awarded.
Grand Prize — One (1)
The Grand Prize Winner will receive:
One complimentary West Oak Dog Photography session — ARV: $200
One 16×24 canvas in a whitewashed reclaimed-wood frame — ARV: $1,295
$100 toward additional artwork
Total Grand Prize ARV: $1,595
The Grand Prize Winner may choose the included 16×24 canvas or apply its $1,295 value toward a qualifying wall art piece of greater value or a qualifying collection that includes wall art.
The $1,295 value of the included canvas may not be applied toward folio boxes, albums, digital-only products, or other standalone products.
The additional $100 artwork credit may be applied toward qualifying artwork purchased as part of the same order.
If the Grand Prize Winner chooses an eligible upgrade or collection with a price greater than the applicable prize value, the winner is responsible for the difference.
Runner-Up Prizes — Three (3)
Each Runner-Up Prize Winner will receive:
One complimentary West Oak Dog Photography session — ARV: $200
One social-media-sized digital photograph
$250 artwork credit
Stated value of each Runner-Up Prize: $450
Each Runner-Up Prize Winner may apply the $250 artwork credit toward qualifying artwork or a collection of greater value and is responsible for any amount above the credit.
Total stated value of all four prizes: $2,945.
Artwork credits and included artwork values have no cash value, are non-transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash, and may not be applied to previous purchases.
No purchase is required to accept the included prize. Any upgrade or additional artwork purchase is optional.
No prize substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent is permitted except at Sponsor’s discretion.
8. Session Terms and Booking
All Grand Prize and Runner-Up Prize Winners must complete their photography sessions no later than November 15, 2026.
Sessions must take place at a location approved by Sponsor within approximately 30 minutes of Whitmore Lake, Michigan.
Session dates, times, and locations are subject to Sponsor availability, weather, and safety considerations. Winners are responsible for transportation to and from the session location.
West Oak Dog Photography sessions are planned for up to ninety (90) minutes, but session length may vary based on the dog’s comfort, weather, location, safety, and when a complete portrait variety has been created.
Sessions are for dogs and people from one household.
After accepting a prize, each winner must complete West Oak Dog Photography’s standard booking process, including reviewing and signing the photography agreement and any applicable releases required for the session.
Failure to complete the required booking process or to schedule and complete the session by November 15, 2026 may result in forfeiture of the prize.
9. Artwork and Digital Images
West Oak Dog Photography is an artwork-focused photography experience. Most West Oak Dog Photography clients invest $1,600–$4,000 in finished artwork.
The Grand Prize includes the 16×24 canvas described in Section 7 and $100 toward additional artwork. The Grand Prize Winner may instead apply the included canvas value toward an eligible higher-value wall art piece or qualifying collection that includes wall art, subject to the restrictions in Section 7.
Each Runner-Up Prize includes one social-media-sized digital photograph and $250 toward artwork.
No additional digital photographs are included with any prize.
Additional digital photographs are available only as corresponding digital files with qualifying physical artwork purchases, in accordance with West Oak Dog Photography’s current product offerings.
Any upgrade or additional artwork purchase is optional. No additional artwork purchase is required to accept a prize or participate in the included session.
10. Entry Conditions
By entering, applicants agree to these Official Rules.
Sponsor may disqualify any entry that is incomplete, inaccurate, fraudulent, automated, duplicated, submitted outside the promotion period, or otherwise violates these Official Rules.
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, extend, or modify the promotion if fraud, technical failures, human error, weather, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control affect the integrity or proper administration of the promotion.
11. Privacy and Email Communication
Information submitted through the application will be used to administer Fall With the Dog You Love, review applications and select recipients, contact applicants and potential recipients, and communicate with entrants about West Oak Dog Photography services, session opportunities, artwork, future events, and related offers.
By submitting the application, entrants agree to receive email communication from West Oak Dog Photography.
Entrants may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link provided in those emails.
Unsubscribing after entering will not affect eligibility, selection, or the ability to accept a prize.
Sponsor will not sell or rent entrant contact information.
12. Release
By entering, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Instagram, Facebook, Meta, and any other social media platform through which the promotion may be advertised from claims arising from participation in the promotion or acceptance and use of a prize, except where prohibited by law.
13. Taxes
Recipients are responsible for any applicable federal, state, or local taxes associated with acceptance or use of a prize.
14. Governing Law
This promotion and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
